ster , in the County of Middlesex ; and to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St James within
the Liberty and County aforesaid and to each
and every of Them

WHEREAS, Complaint hath been made unto Us, Two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace, in and for the
City and Liberty aforesaid (One whereof being of the Quorum)
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields , That Elizabeth Eggerton< no role >
Wife of Richard Eggerton< no role > (gone from her) and their
Child to wit Charles< no role > aged One year and
upwards have
lately intruded and came into
the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields , and are Likely
become Chargeable to the same; We the said Justices, upon
Examination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Circum-
stances, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also adjudge
the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth
Eggerton< no role > and her said Child, to be in the Parish
of St. James within the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to require
you, the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields , on Sight hereof, to
remove and convey the said Elizabeth Eggerton< no role > and Child,
and her Illigitimate Child to wit Richard< no role > aged
Three years and upwards for Nurture
from and out of your said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields ,
to the said Parish of St. James

and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some, or one of them, together with
this our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby required
to receive and provide for Them according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals, this 28th.. Day of Novr. 17 81.
