Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Mary North Gate
in the City of Canterbury
Sheweth
That by a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and
Seals of

and Penleaze Esqrs. Two of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the said County of
Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date
the 16th. Day of November 1781

and their two Children Namely

aged five Years
and
Elizabeth< no role >
aged one Year and upwards were removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch
in the said County of Middlesex
To the Parish of
Saint Mary Northgate
in the City of Canterbury
as the Place of
the last legal Settlement of the said

Elizabeth
his Wife and their two Children whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved
Your Petitioners Therefore humbly
appeal to this Court against the
Adjudication and Order of the said
two Justices and that the benefit
of the said Appeal may be saved
unto them and the hearing and
determining thereof be adjourned
until the next General Session
of the Peace to be held for the
said County
And your Petitioners will
