In pursuance of the Report of the Conferrence; and the
Presentment of the Grand Jury.
Resolved It is the opinion of his Majesty's Justices of
the peace
for the County of Middlesex
now here present
that such part of Chertsey Bridge
as is situate within
the parish of Littleton
in the County of Middlesex
be rebuilt of Stone according to a proper plain
for an entirs Bridge to be jointly approved
of by his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for
the Counties of Surrey
and Middlesex
and
conjunctly carried in to execution.
Resolved that it be and it is hereby referred to Sir
John Hawkins< no role >
knight Sir George Booth Bart< no role >
William Mainwaring< no role >
Etc Etcor any three of them
(is conjunction with his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace
for the County of Surrey
already appointed
a Committee for the like purpose) or any five or
more of them and they are hereby appointed a
Committee and are also hereby fully authorised
and impowered to procure a proper plan for
a New Bridge to be built of stone in [..]

stead of the present Bridge called Chertsey Bridge
