MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks Hall , in Saint John-Street,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the sixteenth
Day of September in the nineteenth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King
of Great Britain, Etc. Before Sir John Hawkins< no role >
Knight John Sherwood< no role > George Allcock< no role > William
Mainwaring

Esquires , and other their Fellows, Justices of our Said
Lord the King, assigned to keep he Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers Felonies,
Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours committed in the
same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
St Peter in the City of Chester Did at the last General Quarter Session of the peace
held for this County Exhibit their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by a
certain Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of William Timbrell< no role > and
Charles Marsh< no role > two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the City and Liberty
of Westminster (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the 9th day of June last
Francis Froggatt< no role > with his two children to wit Francis< no role > aged about six years and
Ann< no role > aged about three years were removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of
Saint George Hanover Square in the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
to the parish of Saint Peter in the City of Chester as the place of their last legal settlement
Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved which said Appeal stood duly
adjourned unto this day Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath
been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said parishes their Councel and Witnesses in and concerning the premises It is
Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said
Warrant or Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside and It
is further ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St Peter Chester do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Francis Froggatt< no role >
and his said two Children (together with a copy of this order) unto the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint George Hanover Square or to
some or one of them who are hereby required to receive and provide for the said
Francis Froggatt< no role > and his said two children untill they can free themselves from
the charge thereof by due course of Law
