To the Worshipful his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General SessionAssembledof the Peace Assembled

The humble Petition & appeal of the churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Warrant or order under the hands Seals of Cad
Coker
< no role > & W. Blackborow Esquires two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex one being of the Quorum bearing date the nineteenth
day of August last Ann Rolfe< no role > Wife of John Rolfe< no role > (who is impressed into his Majesties
Service) & her three Children namely Elizabeth< no role > Aged about nine years John< no role > aged
about Six years & Catherine< no role > Aged about two years were removed from the Parish
of St Luke in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate as the Place of their last legal settlement

That your Petitionrs Conceiving themselves Aggrieved by the sd Warrant or order
so humbly Appeal against the same And pray that your Worships Will be pleased
to appoint a day this present Session that all parties Concerned may Attend to hear
& abide the Judgment & Determination of this Court touching the sd appeal
and your Petitionrs shall ever pray Etc

holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in st John street in the County
aforesd by Adjournment on Monday the Thirteenth day of September in the 19th
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third king of Great Britain
France & Ireland Defender of the Faith Etc

It is ordered by this Court That the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of
the parish of Saint Luke in the County of Middlesex have notice of this appeal
And that they & all Persons Concerned do Attend this Court on Thursday next at
nine of the clock in the Forenoon to hear & abide the Judgment & Determination of this
Court touching the sd Appeal
