(one whereof being of the
Quorum) whereby Elizabeth Purchase< no role >
Singlewoman
was removed and conveyed from the said parish of
Saint Martin in the Fields
to the said parish of
Saint James
as the Place of her last legal Settlemt.
Case.
The said Pauper in her Examination saith That
she is aged about 28 Years is a Singlewoman
and
never was married: That she was Servant to one
Mr Fisdell for two Years and Four Months That
she was hired at first by the Week at 14s per Week
and continued two Years by the Week & was then
hired by the year at 7th Wages and served four
Months which was with her Master at the House
of Mr. Hutchinson in Old Bond Street the
Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
where
Shew as discharged which is about two years age
and not gained any Settlement since These before the above
Servitude she was a yearly hired Servant in the
Strand
in St. Martin in the Fields
for two years
