To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Pancras , in the County of
Middlesex : And to the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Ann
within the Liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex
and to each and every of them.

MIDDLESEX .
David Walker< no role >
Philip Dyot< no role >

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County
of Middlesex , (whereof one is of the Quorum) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Pancras , in the Said County: That Elizabeth Charter< no role >
(Wife of Edward Charter< no role > a Guilder who hath deserted
and left her) is

lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of Saint Pancras , not
having gained a legal Settlement there, nor produced any Cer-
tificate, owning her to be settled elsewhere:
And it appeareth unto Us the said Justices, and we do adjudge,
That She is likely to be chargeable to the
said Parish of Saint Pancras; and upon Examination of the said
Elizabeth Charter< no role >
taken upon Oath, it
farther appeareth unto Us, and we do likewise adjudge, That
the Parish of Saint Ann aforesaid in the said
Liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the Said
Edward Charter< no role > and Elizabeth his Wife

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to Charge and Com-
mand the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Said Parish of Saint Pancras , forthwith to remove and convey
the said Elizabeth Charter< no role >
from and out of the Said Parish of Saint Pancras to the Said
Parish of Saint Ann
and deliver her
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to
Some or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for
her according to Law. Given under Our Hands and
Seals the 18th- Day of August One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine
