To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter
Sessions Assembled

The humble Petition of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Saviour
Southwark in the County of Surrey in Behalf of
themselves and the Rest of the Inhabitants of the said
Parish

Sheweth


That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of Joseph Girdler< no role > and Stephen Clarke< no role > Esquires two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of
Middlesex bearing Date the Twelfth Day of September one
Thousand seven hundred & Sixty Nine Mark Noble< no role > (Smith)
Sarah< no role > his Wife and their two Children Namely Mark< no role > aged
five Years and upwards and William< no role > aged seven Months
were and are removed from the Parish of Saint Andrew
Holborn above the Bars in the County of Middlesex to the
Parish of Saint Saviour Southwark aforesaid as the
Place of their legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners
Think themselves Aggrieved And Appeal against the
said Order or Pass Warrant

And Therefore your Petitioners humbly
