That Saturday Evening the 30th. Sepr. An Information was
made before the Magistrates Assembled in Bow Street that the
Cutters were Assembled at the Dolphin in Cock Lane
and Warrant was Granted to Search the House and a Number
of Peace Officers were Sent for to Execute it
That Informant was Sent with the Constables and Mr. Wright
a Justice of the Peace took a party of the Guards from the Savoy
with him to Support the Constables fearing they would be
Insufficient to stand against such a Set of Persons as the
Cutters were Represented to beThat by the time they
got to the House there were not above five or Six of the
Peace Officers out of upwards of Thirty who Set out to go
That somewhere about Old Street Informantmet wand the
Peace Officers [..] with Justice Wright and the Guards
That Mr. Wright Proposed that Six Constables or their
Assistants Supported by Six Soldiers should go into the House
And the rest of the Soldiers were to Surround the House
That Informant was fixed for One of the Six And was the
first who went into the HouseThat Informant went
directly up Stairs and was followed by One Taylor a Constable
and some Soldiers But who in Particular he does not know
That there was a Door at the Stairs Headwhich Informant
found OpenAt which stood a Man who Opened it a little way And that man run
along a Passage which Lead to the Room where the Cutters
were And went into the Room And Shut the Door
That Informant then Followed him down the Passage and Pushed open the Room Door and
