One Pair of Stairs WindowsThat they Appeared
to be Single FiringsThat after those Firings out
of the Windows the Soldiers were Ordered to Fire
That they then Fired a great many times And Informts.
thinks Principally at the One Pair of Stairs Room
That some short time afterwards somebody At the Door
Orderd' the Soldiers toFireLoad with BallWhether
it was the Justice or the Commanding Officer gave that
Order Informant knowsnot.Thinks the Soldiers
being Killed was the Reason of that Orders being given
That Directly afterwards they Fired as fast as they Loaded
not in a regular mannerBut two or they at a
time in different Parts of the HouseThat they had no Direction to Fire at any particulars PartThat there
was One Man Fired into the Tap Room after there
was an Order to Fire no moreThat he cannot
Say he heard any Firing within the House Except from the One Pair of Stairs Windows as above
That there was an Order given by the Commanding
Officer to the Soldiers to keep themselves Close as if they
were in an Engagemt. But whether such Order
was given before or after they fired Informant
cannot RecollectRather Thinks it was before
they Fired at all
