James Dass< no role > of Cock Lane Weaver Saith that he
Went into Mr. Rawlings's last Saturday Evening about
Ten o. Clock And as soon as he was got into the Top
Room he saw some soldiers Come in

That Informant went to go Out And there were
Two Soldiers Placed One by the Bar and the Other
nearly Opposite him within the Door in the Tap
Room who told Informant he must not go Out
Desired every Body to be Quiet and told them they
would not be hurtThat he heard some body
given them Orders to LoadThat those two in the
Tap Room Loaded directlyThen somebody said
Up Stairs and there appeared a Rumbling in the
Passage And directly Afterwards Informant heard
the Report of Gun or a Pistol he cannot tell
which and that Seeme to Come from above StairsThat imediately
after that first Firing he heard Sevl. Others
But Whether those were from Out Doors or
in the House Informant cannot tell
And Saith he did not hear any Orders give to
FireNor did he see any Person Fall by that
first FiringThat then there was Firing again
up Stairs and DownThat after Eight Firings
as Informant was Sitting in the Tap Room with his
Head on his Head a Ball went through his Hat
That Firing was from the Street through the Window
of the Top RoomAnd that was the first
