The Exam: & Confession of John Eaton< no role >
taken before Ra: Bucknall< no role > Esqr one of her Majties justices of
the peace for the said County.

Saith and Confesseth that he did Lodge at the House of
John Wintworth< no role > at Salt Peter Rank in the parrh of St Mary
White Chappell where he Lodged about Three weeks, and that
the Goods now found in his possesion, viz: A Large Silver
Cupp A Silver porringer A Clock pettycoat with A Silver
Orrice A Silk pettycoat with a Gold Lace and Some
other Goods, which said Goods he this Examt Saith
that Mary Wintworth< no role > ordered this [..] to Carry to
the Signe of the Harrow in Newgate Street , but he
meeting his wife Ann Eaton< no role > by the way he did not Carry
the said Goods to the Signe of the Harrow above but
brought them to A Lodgeing that he Took near the
Bell Brewhouse in the parrh St Gyleis in the Feilds in this
County, which said Goods above he this Examt: Tooke
by the Direction of Mary Wintworth< no role > and did not Steale
the same

Confesseth and Saith that the Goods found in the possesion of
John Eaton< no role > she knowesh nothing of them, but only he
Told her that he took the same by his Landladys Direction
she not knowing from whom they was [..] brought but as
he told her
