then fell downe dead And this Informant

Who Saith yt on Saturday night last being ye 24th instant
about ye hours of Eight & nine one Richard mayway< no role > came
runing into this Informants house in ye Pish of Man le bone
where this Informt wth Thomas Lee< no role > were drinking a pott of
drink and said yt he had bin abused by four Frenchmen
and yt they had taken his Hatt & Stick from him & going
imediately out of ye house again this Informant follows
him, and Saw ye Said Mayway Struggling wth one of ye four
French men for his Stick & at ye Same time Saw one
