The Humble Petition of Charles Wapshott< no role >

Sheweth


That Yor. Petitionr. stands convicted before Yor. Worships
for a Trespasses for which Yor: Worps. were pleased to Fyne him
Ten pounds and to stand comitted to New Prison untill he pay
the same, where he now remains

That Yor. Petr. is in a very Poor & low Condition
having sustained great Losses, and hath not where wth. to maintain
his Family, much lesse to pay so great a Fine: And whilst he
continues in Prison for the same, his Family must starve.

That the damage done to the Prosecutor was Not of the
Value of One Shilling, there being only a Staple o fa Door drown

Yor. Petr. therefore humbly Prays Yor
Worps. will be pleased to mittigate his
said Fine, as to Yor. Worps. shall seem meet.

And Yor. Petr. shall ever Pray Etc.
