Whereas a Bill of Indictment was found at the General
Session held for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall the twenty
sixth day of February in the fifth year of her prsent Maties Reign
against James Surridge< no role > of the parish of St. Margarets Westmr : in
the said County of Middx Marriner for that he did on the tenth
day of February in the fifth year of her present Maties Reign
as a Witness for the Plt. in a certaine Cause at that time
depending Between Richard Evans< no role > qui tamer plt and John
Aldred
< no role > Captain of her Maties Shipp the Rochester Defendt.
in her Maties Court of Exchequer comitt wilfull and corrupt
Perjury And Whereas William Wriglesworth< no role > the
Sollicitor for the Prosecutor of the said Indictment hath the
day personally appeared before me and agreed and cousented
that a Noli Prosequi should be entered on the said
Indictment the said Mr. Wriglesworth intending to proceed
no further thereon, These are therefore to desire and
Authorize you forthwith to enter or cause to be Entred
a Noli Prosequi on the said Indictment and Stay
all proceedings thereupon And for so doing this shall
be your Warrant Dated this Seaventeenth day of
June 1707.
