MIDDLESEX .


At the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks=Hall, in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the Fourth
Day of Junein the Eighteenth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King
of Great Britain, Etc. Before Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight
The Reverend Sir George Booth< no role > Baronet John Barnfather< no role >
David Wilmot< no role > Esquires
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers Felonies,
Trespasses and other Misdemeanores committed in the
same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Allhallows
Barkin Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal Setting
forth That by an Order of removal under the hands and Seals of Parker Rowlands< no role > and
John Sherwood< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of the County of
Middlesex and dated the Twenty Sixth day of May last Mary Rider< no role > a Singlewoman was
removed from the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the said County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Allhallows Barkin as the place of the last legal Settlement
of the said Mary Rider< no role > whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Whereupon
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Allhallows Barkin
being called to support their said Appeal and not appearing It is Ordered
that the said appeal be and the same is hereby dismissed and the said Order of Removal of the
said two Justices is hereby Confirmed And it is further Ordered that
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Allhallows Barkin
do maintain and provide for the said Mary Rider< no role > until they can free themselves
from the charge thereof by due course of Law
