MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the eleventh
Day of Julyin the sixteenthYear of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
Saint George in the said County Have at this present Session Exhibited their
Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of Burford Camper< no role > and John Sherwood< no role > Esquires two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace acting in and for the said County (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the eleventh day of June now last past
Rose Wits< no role > wife of Thomas Wits< no role > (who was gone from her) and her three
Children vizt Hannah Maria< no role > aged ten years or there abouts Edward < no role > aged
four Years and an half or thereabouts and Kittora < no role > aged two Years or thereabouts
were removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of Saint John of
Wapping in the said County to the said Parish of Saint George as the place
of the last legal settlement of the said Rose Wits and her said three Children
Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Whereupon at the
request of the said Petitioners It is ordered that the Benefit of their said
Appeal should be saved unto them and the hearing and determining thereof be
and the same is hereby adjourned until he next General Session of the peace to be
holden for the said County and on Notice hereof in the mean time to be given to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint John
Wapping they and all persons concerned do attend the Court at Hicks Hall
aforesaid on Thursday the twelfth day of September next at the hour of nine
in the forenoon of the same Day to hear and abide the Judgment and
determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
