was no provision made in the Act in whom the Custody of the Convicts
shall vest in Case of the Death of the Overseer It was moved and
Seconded that another Overseer be appointed for the purpose last
mentioned and this being agreed to Mr. Campbell recommended
to the Court Neil Campbell< no role > of Woolwich in the County of Kent Gentleman
and Brother to the said Mr. Duncan Campbell< no role > to the choice of the
Justices for that purpose only Whereupon it was moved and Seconded
that the said Neil Campbell< no role > be appointed one of the Overseers under
the said Act on the same conditions and under the same agreements
on his part as the said Duncan Campbell< no role > has been appointed
and the samewasbeing agreed to and It is in like manner [..] ordered an [..] [And immediately afterwards a
motion was made and Seconded that it be referred to the Prison
Committee to take into Consideration the said Act of Parliament
and report how the other partsthrough of thethereof [..] can be carried into Execution, and the
same being agreed to It is ordered that the said Committee
do meet for the purpose aforesaid at Hicks Hall on Wednesday
next at Eleven of the Clock in the forenoon precisely
