Saunders Welch< no role > Esqr . delivered to the Chairman a paper
containing several proposals for the conduct of the Magistrates
in the Execution of the Laws against Rogues and Vagabonds
which paper was Read but no motion being made relative
to the same: It was moved and seconded that a
Committee be appointed to carry into immediate and
effectual execution the Order of his Majesty's most
honourable privy Council which has been laid before
this meeting and that the said Committee be and they
are hereby empowered to have such persons and papers
before them as may seem necessary to the said purpose
and the same being Ordered.

It was moved and seconded that this meeting do
resolve itself into a Committee for the said purpose and
proceed to Business immediately but many Objections
being made thereto the said motion was withdrawn and
then it was resolved that Sir John Hawkins< no role > Sir George

they are hereby Constituted and Appointed a Committee agreeable to
the said Order of this meeting That the said Committee do
meet at Hicks Hall on Thursday next the 21st. Inst. at 12
o Clock at noon precisely and that afterwards they do meet and Adjourn
at pleasure.
