MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the twentieth
Day of Octoberin the fourteenth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain,Etc.Before Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knr
Benjamin Cowley< no role > John Walford< no role > John Sherwood< no role > Esqr.
and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also
to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and
other Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex did at the last
General Session of the Peace held for this County Exhibit their Petition and Appeal Settingforth That by
Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of
James Barwick< no role > and Rt Boothby< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace acting in and for the County of Essex (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the thirtieth day of August last Sarah Adams< no role >
Single Woman was removed and conveyed from the Parish of Loughton
in the County of Essex to the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the County of Middlesex aforesaid as the Place of the last legal Settlement
of the said Sarah Adams< no role > Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves
aggreived which said Appeal stood duly adjourned unto this day Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been
alledged by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises
It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and
the saidPass Warrant ororder or pass Warrant of the said two Justices is hereby Vacated
and set aside And it is further ordered that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch do
forthwith convey and deliver back the said Sarah Adams< no role > (together
with a Copy of this Order unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Loughton or to some or one of them who
are hereby required to receive and provide for the said Sarah Adams< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of
Law.
