MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall, in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the twentieth
Day of Octoberin the fourteenth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc. Before Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knr
Benjamin Cowley< no role > , John Walford< no role > John Sherwood< no role >
Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our
said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the
County aforesaid and also to hear and determine
divers Felonies Trespasses and other misdemeanours
committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Docking
in the County of Norfolk did at the General Quarter Session of the Peace held
for this County in the Month of July last Exhibit their Petition and Appeal
setting forth That by Virtue of a Vagrant or Pass Warrant under the Hand
and Seal of G. Wright one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the County of Middlesex bearing date the sixth day of May last past
Elizabeth Malby< no role > in the Parish of Saint James's within the Liberty of
Westminster and County of Middlesex was apprehended as a rogue
and Vagabond begging Alms and was removed from thence to the
Parish of Docking aforesaid alledging the same to be the place of her the said
Elizabeth Malby< no role > & last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners conceived
themselves Aggrieved and which said Appeal [..] duly adjourned unto this day Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath
been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the
Premises. It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is
hereby allowed and the said Vagrant or pass Warrant of the said Justice
is hereby vacated and set aside And it is further ordered that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Docking
in the County of Norfolk do forthwith convey and deliver back the
said Elizabeth Malby< no role > (together with a Copy of this Order) unto
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
James within the Liberty of Westminster or some or one of them
who are hereby required to receive and provide for the said Elizabeth
Malby until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by
due course of Law.
