At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday the fourteenth
day of Januaryin the Thirteenth Year of the Reign of our sovereign
Lord George the Third King of Great Britain EtcBefore Sir John

Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear
and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanors
Committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Mary Islington in the County of Middlesex Have at this Present Sessions
Exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or
Order under the Hands and Seals of John Walford< no role > and Thomas Fellows< no role > Esquires Two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (whereof one is of the
Quorum) bearing date the Twenty ninth day of December last Rachael Blackburn< no role >
Widow of Thomas Blackburn< no role > deceased and Ann Banford< no role > Daughter of the said Rachael
Blackburn
< no role > and William Banford< no role > Son of the said Ann Banford aged about three
Years were removed and Conveyed from the Parish of Saint Luke in the said County
to the said Parish of Saint Mary Islington as their last legal place of Settlement Whereby
the Petitioners thought themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal in the
Presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish
of Saint Luke and they consenting by their Councel to the allowing of the said Appeal
It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said
Pass Warrant or Order of the said Two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside and
it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Mary Islington do forthwith Convey and deliver back the said
Rachael Blackburn< no role > , Ann Banford [..] William Banford< no role > (together with a Copy of this
Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Luke or to some or one of them who are hereby required to receive and provide
for the said Rachael Blackburn< no role > , Ann Benford [..] William Banford< no role > until they can free
themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law.
