At the General Sessions of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
[..] in the said County on Monday the [..] Ninth day of September
in the Eleventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the third King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas the Overseers of the Poor of the Liberty of Norton Folgate
in the County of Middlesex Have at this present General Sessions
of the Peace Exhibited their Petition and appeal Setting forth
that by a Pass Warrant or order under the Hands and Seals
of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex (one of them being of the Quorum) bearing
date (the Fifteenth day of August last Ann< no role > a Bastard Child of
Elizabeth Simpson< no role > ) was removed from the Parish of Christ Church
to the said Liberty of Norton Folgate as the place of [..] shew last legal
Settlement whereby the Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
Whereupon at the request of the Petitioners It is Ordered [..]
[..] by this Court that the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Christ Church have
Notice of this Appeal and that they and all persons concerned
do attend on Thursday next Nine O. Clock in the forenoon to
hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the same Court
touching the said Appeal
