On an Indictment at the Prosecution of
Peter Mathew< no role > for an Assault

John Coleman< no role > of Mile End old Town in the Parish of
Saint Dunstan Steben Heath otherwise Stepney in the County
of Middlesex Potter Maketh Oath That on Tuesday the
Third day of this Instant September he this Deponent
went to the House of Mr Langley a Baker at Stratford
in Essex where this Deponent had been credibly Informed
the Prosecutor in this Cause Peter Mathieu< no role > then Lodged)
in order to serve him with the Notice of Trial in this Cause
hereunto Annexed and on Enquiring for him there this
Deponent was Informed by Mrs Langley That the said
Peter Mathew< no role > was gone away and did not then Lodge
there and Saith that he this Deponent was also at the
Same time Informed by one Godfrey Mark who then
Lodged in that House that he believed the said Peter Mathiew< no role >
was gone abroad and Lastly Saith that the said Mr Langless
House is the last place of abode of the said Peter
Mathew that this Deponent can get any Intelligence
