nor could give this Deponent any intelligence about her or made
Use of Words to the like purport and Effect And this Deponent
Saith That he verily Believes that the said prosecutrix being
conscious to herself that this Deponent is entirely [..] of
the supposd rape charge upon this Deponent She has therefore
withdrawn herself into some remote part of the kingdom utterly
unknown to this Deponent & never intends to Appear against this
Deponent & the more especially, For that the said prosecutrix
has never get taken any steps to Apprehend this Deponent on
the said Indictment, al the this Deponent carries on the business
of a Silk Dyer in Orange Strut Bloomsbury & hath never
Absconded since the finding the above Indictment but has
been ever since & now is publick in his said Business
