that the said Mr Doyle about a Month ago assured this Deponent that
he would support and defend the said Patrick Fox< no role > against this Deponent and
go throw with it let it cost him what it would or to that effect And this Deponent
about a Fortnight ago saw the said Patrick Fox< no role > well Cloathed and with a
Watch in his Pocket which he pulled out and told this Deponent that he
would give her Law enough and would throw Forty pounds after her
And this Deponent saith that this Deponent was a few days ago informed
by Mrs. Murfey who is an acquaintance of the said Patrick Fox< no role > 's that
she had heard a Letter that day read which came from sd. Defendant Foxe's
said Wife at Castle Ray aforesaid wherein was mentioned that she had then
got forty pounds from her Father & would soon bring that Sum or More
to the Defendant her Husband and be reestablished in there former
way of life or to that effect And this Deponent saith that the said Patrick
Fox
< no role > at the time this Deponent had an Opportunity of seeing his Goods
and [..] Furniture as abovementioned had in his said houses amongst
other Goods & Furniture eight very good Feather Beds and also one
good Down Bed and also a Flock Bed in all ten Beds with Bed
steads and other things thereto belonging And this Deponent saith
the several Affidavits made by and on the part of the said Patrick
Fox
< no role > [..] or alter [..] (upon him on his Conviction
on this Prosecution are Contrived to [..] and impose upon this Honble
Court as this Deponent [..] believes And this Dept saith that the said Patrick
Fox
< no role > paid after the rate of ten pounds by the Year for each of the said
houses in all twenty pounds a Year which he so held as aforesaid
which he paid at first Quarterly but at last Weekly to avoid taxes as
he and his said Wife informed this Deponent and which this Deponant
verily believes to be true this Deponent was present when the said Mr. Fox
paid some of those Rents And this Dept saith that she hath been put to
considerable expences [..] and besides what her Solicitor laid out at Hick's
Hall [..] in preferring her Bill of Indictment
this Prosecution and Attendances in the several Sessions afterwards & particularly in January
Session's last when this Dept. and all her Witnesses Attended several days with
her Solicitor or his Clerk the Deft having [..] Notice of Trial for that Session and also in last May Sessions when the said Patrick
Fox
< no role > came into Court in order to obtain his discharge by undue practice as this
Deponent was informed and believes
