To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Leonard, Shoreditch , in the County
of Middlesex , and to the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Allhalows
the Great in the City of London

WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto
Us, two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in and for the County of Middlesex , (one
whereof being the Quorum) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of St. Leonard Shoreditch , Middlesex , That daniel
Cardell< no role > hath lately come to Inhabit in
the parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
aforesaid not having gained any legal Settlement
thew or produced any Certificate owing him to be
settled else where and is
likely to become Chargeable to the same; We the
said Justices upon Examination of the Premises upon
Oath, and other Cirucmstances, do adjudge the same
to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the last
legal Settlement of the said Daniel Cardell< no role > is in
the parish of all hallows the Great in the
City of London aforesaid

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to
require you the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Leonard,
Shoreditch , Middlesex , on Sight hereof, to remove
and convey the said Daniel Cardell< no role >

from and out of your said Parish of Saint Leonard
unto the said Parish of all hall [..] the Great

and him deliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or to one of
them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
hereof, who are hereby required to receive and
provide for him according to Law.

Given under our Hands and Seals this 14th
