To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in General Quarter Sesdsions of the Peace at Hicks Hall in Saint
John Street in and for the said County Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint George the Martyr Southwark in the
County of Surrey

Sheweth That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of
James Fielding< no role > Esquire and Thomas Edwards< no role > Esquire two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex One of the Quorum
bearing Date the Sixth day of October last Mary Ellis< no role > Wife of Robert.
Ellis
< no role > then gone from her and their Child to wit Hannah aged Six Months
was removed from the Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of
Westminster in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint
George the Martyr Southwark in the said County of Surrey as the
Place of her last legal Settlement whereby Your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be agrieved And against the said Order do Appeal

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray that a short Day may be appointed
this present Session to hear and determine
the matter Touching the said Appeal
And Your Petitioner shall pray & C
