At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint
John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) on Saturday the.
Sixteenth day of April in the Eighth year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc.

Whereas Joseph Burnthwaite< no role > Hath at this present Session Exhibited his
Petition and Appeal Setting forth That he is an Inhabitant and Householder
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in this County and as such it [..]
and charged to the relief of the Poor of the said Parish, And that by a Rate
or Assessment made for relief of the poor of the said Parish is charged for
his Dwelling house in the said Parish at and after the rate of the yearly
rent of Fifty Eight pounds, and he only pays the yearly rent of Forty five
pounds as will appear by his Lease So that he Apprehends himself
Aggrieved by the said Rate and thereby praying relief in the Premisses
Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioner It is Ordered that his said
Petition be Adjourned until the next General Quarter Session to be held for
this County And that in the mean time on notice hereof to be given to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Clement
Danes they and all parties concerned do Attend the Court at Hicks Hall
aforesaid on Thursday the Seventh day of July next at nine of the Clock in
the forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the Court
touching the said Petition and that at the same time they do produce the
said Rate or Assessment so made by the said Parish
