At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint
John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) on Monday the
fourth day of July in the Eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish
of Clifton in the County of Warwick Have at this Session Exhibited their
Petition and appeal Setting forth that by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order
of Removal under the hands and Seals of Cadwallader Coker< no role > and
Benjamin Cowley< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the said County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
date the 25th. day of April last John Chambers< no role > (Son of Daniel Chambers< no role >
and Susanna < no role > his wife both deceased) aged about five years were removed
and conveyed from the Parish of Saint Luke in the said County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Clifton as the place of his last legal Settlement
Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves Aggrieved Whereupon at
the request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that the benefit of their
said appeal be saved unto them and that the hearing and determining
thereof be and the same is hereby Adjourned until the next General
Quarter Session of the Peace of be held for this County And that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poorof the Poorof the said Parish of
Saint Luke on Notice hereof to be given to them in the mean time they
and all parties concerned do attend the Court at Hicks Hall aforesaid on
Thursday the Seventh day of Julynextinstant at Nine of the Clock in the
forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the Judgment and
Determination of the Court touching the said appeal.
