To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the
Peace in and for the County of Middlesex Assembled
at the General quarter Session holden at Hicks
Hall in Saint John Street in the said County

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint George in the said County of Middx

Sheweth that by a pass Warrant or Order of Removal bearing Date the Seventh Day of January
Instant Under the Hands and Seals of John Cox< no role > and Stephen Clarke< no role > Esquires two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said County (One being of the Quorum) George Cooper< no role >
Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and their five Children to wit Theophilus< no role > , Aged fourteen Years George< no role > , Aged Eleven
Years William< no role > , Aged Nine Years Catherine< no role > , Aged three years and Elizabeth< no role > Aged twelve Months
Were removed from the Parish of Saint Giles in the fields in the County aforesaid, To the Parish of
Saint George in the County aforesaid As the Place of their Last Legal Settlement

That Your Petitioners Apprehending themselves aggrieved by the said Pass Warrant for
Order of removal Do humbly a [..] al against the same

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Prays your Worships will be
Pleased to Order the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Pa [..]
of Saint Giles in the fields in the said County and all other Persons Concerned
to attend this Court some Day this Present Session to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of the Court touching the said Appeal and
that Your Petitioners may have such relief therein as to Justice and
Law doth Appertain
