Whereas by an Instrumts. properties to be an Indenture of
ApprenticeshipRobesbearing date the 28th. Day of Janry 1763.
Robert Peirson< no role > son of Robert Peirson< no role > of the Past of St. Jas.
Clerkenwell in the County of Carpenter did put himself
Apprentice to Benj. Corden< no role > of the Parish afd. Jeweller & Guilder
to learn his Art &herwith his after the manner of Apple
to Serve from the Day of the Date thereof unto the full and
& term of yrs.from thenceand the said Mar did thereby
Covenanttheto teach & instruct the said Apprentice or to
cause him to be taught & instructed in the said Art and
to allow him suffiets. Meat drink washing & Lodging And
Whereas the said Apprentice hath complained the Us
two& other of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said
CountyUp [..] corporal Oaththat his said Master
hath not onlytotallyneglected to teach & instruct
the saidhim or to be so taught & instructed in the
Said Artof a Jewellersbut also to find & Provide him
with sufficient Meat Drink Washing & Lodging contrary
to his Covenant in that respect Whereupon the
said Benjamin Corden< no role > having been Simmoned
to answer thesaidComplaint of his said Appll.
And Wehavingbeeing now here attended by the Parties and
them Friends & Witnesses and upon hearing and duty considg [..] what
hath been alledged on either side by and on behalf
of the same Partiesand WeeDotherefore hereby abs
as far as in us lyes & in Pursuance of the Statute in such
case lately provided absolutely discharge the sd.Appl.from his
sd. Appr any thing in the said Insrumts. contained to the contrary
thereof not with stands In Testimony whereof we hear hereunto
our Hands & Seals at Hicks Hall the
