To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in GeneralQuarterSession of the Peace at
Hicks Hall Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint. Anne
within the LIberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
hands and Seals of George Wright< no role > and Thomas Edwards< no role > Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty
of Westminster aforesaid (One whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing Date the twenty third day of May last Mary
Jagger
< no role > Singlewoman was removed and conveyed from
the Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex to the said
Parish of Saint Anne as the Place of her last legal
Settlement Whereby Your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be Aggrieved. And

Therefore they humbly Appeal to the Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices
and the said Pass Warrant or Order And Pray
that the Benefit of this Appeal May be saved
unto Your Petitioners and that the hearing and
determining thereof may be Adjourned to the
next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be
holden for this County.
