To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County.

Sheweth.


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and
Seals of I Miller and Nicholas Spencer< no role > Esquires Two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster bearing date the
25th. day of June 1767 John Smith< no role > his Wife Elizabeth< no role > and their Child
William< no role > aged 2½ years were removed from the Parish of St. Margaret
in the City of Westminster in the said County to the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square in the said Liberty and County as the place of their last
legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioner think themselves aggrieved
and Appeal to this Court against the same.

Therefore Humbly may this Court will please to appoint
a time for hearing and determining the said appeal and
that all Persons concerned may then attend.

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
