And Misdemeanor at Hicks's Hall and at the Guild hall at Westmr. And it is
usual to Commit Felons in the first Instance to New Prison
and Clerkenwell That he has heard & bell it has been the
immomorial Practice of Removing Prisoners from these Gaols
to Newgate before the Sessions as the Biees of Indictment were
found till the Year 1726 That the Keepers of New Prison
and Clerkenwell are a meanable to the Sessions at the
Old Baily and have been fined for not bringing their
Prisoners That the Order made 1726 was made to
Present the Inconvenience arising from the Keepers not
bring their Prisoners.
