To prove the Allegation that for several years
last past there have been Communibus Annis
near 1000, Prisoners committed to the Gaol of
Newgate two thirds of whom have been
Middlesex Prisoners

Mr. Richard Akerman< no role > This name instance is in set 4413. Keepers of Newgate produced
an Account of the number of Prisoners committed
to the said Gaol from 1755. to 1765. whereby
it appeared that the Number of London
Debtors were 50. and the Middlesex 1196.

That the number of London Felons and
Trespasses were 1602. and the Middlesex
4891.-and he also produced an account
of the Number of Prisoners comitted to Newgate
distinguishing such as were brought by original
Commitment from Midsumer 1763. to the 19th:
March 1765. by which it appeared that the
Number of Felons from London were 363. and from
