Westminster To Wit.


To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman,
and other Officer of the Peace of the Parish
of St. Martin in the of Fields with in the
Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex .
within the Saidto receive
and convey. And to the Church-Wardens,
Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish, Place or Precinct of St John
the Evangelist . in the Libty & County aforesaid of or
either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Sarah Bater Single Woman was
apprehended in the said Parish of St. Martin in ye Fields
as a Rogue and Vagabond (Videlicet) lodging in the open dir
contrary to the Statute in that Case made and
provided
and upon Examination of the said Sarah Bater< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last legal
place of Settlement of the said Sarah Bater< no role >
in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middx afsd.
These are therefore to require you the said Constable, or other Officer,
to conyey the said Sarah Bater< no role >
to the Pep Parish of St. John of the Evangelist that being the first
in the next Precinct, through whichought to pass
in the direct Way to the saidofto which
to be sent, and to deliverto the Constable of
other Officer of Suchin [..] ,
together with
this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Sarah
Bater taking his Receipt
for the same.And the said
to be [..] carried on in like Manner
to be saidof

there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or Over-
seer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church-
warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the Poor, are hereby required
to receive the said Person and provide for her as aforesaid. Given
under my Hand and Seal this 22d Day of May
in the Year of our Lord 17 64
