At the General Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord
the King of the County of Middlesex holden at Hicks Hall
in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment
on Thursday the Twentieth day of September 1763 and in the
Third King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Michael Bassishaw in the Said County of Middlesex Exhibitted their Petition
and Appeal to this Court Setting forth That by Virtue of an Order or Pass-
Warrant under the hands and Seals of William Timbrell< no role > and William
Mantle
< no role > Esquires Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City
and Liberty of Westminster in this County of Middlesex (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the Thirteenth day of July last past
Elizabeth Rawlings< no role > Widow , was Removed from the Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex unto the Said Parish of Saint Michael Bassishaw in the City
of London Alledging the Said Parish of Saint Michael Bassishaw to be the
Place of her last legal Settlement Whereby Petitioners conceive
themselves to be aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioners
It is Ordered that the benefit of their Said Appeal aforesaid be saved unto
them And that the hearing and Determining thereof be and the same is
hereby Adjourned until the next General Quarter Session of the Peace
to be holden for this County and that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Said Parish of Saint George Hanover Square within
the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex on Notice hereof
to be given to them in the Mean time and all other Persons Concerned Do
Attend the Court at Hicks Hall aforesaid on Tuesday the Eighteenth day
of October next by Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon (at which time and
Place the Said Session will be holden by Adjournment as it is Expected)
to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the Said Court
touching the Said appeal.
