To the worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Quarter Session of the Peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Peter le Poor in the City of
London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of William Caston< no role > and
Robert Darling< no role > two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex dated the
twenty third day of September last Sarah Roberts< no role >
Singlewoman with her Child William aged about thirteen
Months a Bastard born of her Body out of lawful
Matrimony were removed and conveyed from and out of
the Parish of Saint Matthew Bethnal Green in the said
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Peter
le Poor as the Place of their last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved
by the said Order or Warrant Do humbly appeal
against the same and pray that the Hearing and
Determination thereof may by an Order of this Court
be on such Day of this present Session as shall
be deemed proper for that purpose And that the
said Appellants may be relieved in the Premisses
as to the Court shall then seem meet

And your Petitioners will pray Etc.
