The Examination of Mary Miller< no role >

Who being on Oath says that on Tuesday Morning last about
half past [..] five o' Clock went the Laundry to see for her new Gown
that while She was looking at it there with a Candle she
heard a Noise in Mr. Murcott's Room like the Ratling of
Plate that as She passed by his door with her Gown She
saw his door wide open, another heard a Noise before her
up Stairs like a sif it were a Man running up without
Shoes, that as She went by the Footman's Room the door
was ajarr , says that She went into Mr. Murcott's Room as is
usual on a Washing Morning for three Keys when She did not hear
him make any Noise a tall and that his Cloaths were all upon
a heap at the feet of his Bed, says that She heard this Noise
before the Cluinney Sweepers came into the House who
were let in by Lydia the Housemaid
