At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said
County by Adjournment) on Friday the Twenty Ninth
day of October 1762 in the Second year of the Regin of Our Sovereign
Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc Before
Thomas Lane< no role > Francis Bedwell< no role > Bartholomew
Hammond
< no role > Benjamin Cowley< no role > John Spencer
Colepeper
< no role > Esquire .
and others their Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to keep the Peace of our said Lord the King in the
County aforesaid and also to hear and Determine divers
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanours committed
in the same County

Whereas by an Order of General Session of the Peace
for this County made on Thursday the 25th. of February
1747, Setting forth that John Ditcher< no role > had for divers Years
then last been attendant on his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace of this County Assembled in Sessions & had been
very use full to them upon divers Occasions & had been
ready to Observe & obey the Directions by them given
in matters & messuages relating to the Commission and
that his Attendance was still necessary & might be
useful And that the said Court being Informed that
he was very desirous to continue his Attendance on
them as formerly having some small Allowance made
him for such Labour & Attendance The said John Ditcher< no role >
was allowed the Yearly Sum or Salary of Four pounds
in manner theirin mentioned for his future Attendance upon It is Majesty's Justices
of the Peace of this County in their Sessions & such like
service he duly performing the same as formerly
