Edward Terry< no role > a Waiter at the Cardigan head on his Oath
says, that on Sunday the 10th. of May Instant he heard
[..] a great Noise which he beleives to be the report of
a Pistol, that he then went up Stairs and met Mr. Brice
coming down, The Deponent told him he should not go out
of the house, he said he was going for a Surgeon , Depont.
would not let him go, and Mr. Brice then went up again
with this Deponent Willingly and Deponent saw Capt, Jaspar
holding by the Door, and Capt, Jasper ask'd Deponent if
he had secured him, Deponent answered Here he is, and
at the same time pointing at Mr. Brice, Capt. Jaspar
then said it was very well, Deponent says that then Mr.
Brice said to Capt, Jaspar, My Dear Jaspar I hope you'll
forgive me Deponent did not hear Capt, Jaspar make any
