Taken before me this 20th.. day of
April 1761
Who being on Oath says that on Wednesday the 8th.
of April Instant about seven in the Evening as he was
coming to Town in a Post Chaise in Company with Mr. Ralph
Dobinson< no role >
they were attacked upon Finchley Common
by
three Highwaymen, one of whom was Mounted upon a
grey Horse, the other two, Mounted, one on a bay Horses
the other upon a darker Bay, says that they look from
this Informant a Metal Watch now produced and
some Silver, says that the Person who took his Watch
and Money was Mounted upon the darker lay Horse
and was himself very dirty as if he had recevied a Fall
