in Saint John Street
in the County aforesaid (by adjournment) On Thursday the
Fourth day of December 1760 in the first
Year of the Reign of King George the 3d.
It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
the Treasurer
of this County
do pay to Messieurs Richard Jupp and Som< no role >
the Sum of Thirty three
Pounds Eight Shillings and Five pence for Carpenters Work done by
them for this County at New Prison
Clerkenwell
and the Further Sum
of Forty eight Pounds eight Shillings for like Business at the House
of Correction there And two Pounds ten Shillings and Sixpence more
for like Business at Hicks Hall
aforesaid Making to gether the
Sum of Eighty four Pounds Six Shillings and eleven pence the
Amount of their three Several Bills delivered into this Court and
perused and Examined by His Majesty's Justices here present
And this Court doth Order that the Receipt of the above named
Workmen together with this Order shall be a sufficient
Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment

Mentioned sum of Eighty one Pounds Sixteen Shillings
Five pence pursuant to the order above mentioned with
sd. £2:10s:6d for work at Hicks Hall
