To the Worshipfull His Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Sessions
of the peace Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St: George Hanover
Square in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
Hands and seals of Philip Dyot< no role > & Stephen Clarke< no role > Esquires
Two of His Majestys Justices of the peace for the said County (one
whereof being of the Quorum bearing date the 14th: day of
November 1760 a Female Bastard Child named Mary< no role > aged
one Month born of the Body of Mary Hocknall< no role > This name instance is in set 398. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . otherwise
Thomas < no role > Singlewoman was removed from the Parish of St:
Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex to the Parish
of St: George Hanover Square in the said County as the
place of the said Childs last legal Settlement Whereby
your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and Appeal
to this Court against the same

Therefore Humbly pray this Court will please
to appoint a Time for hearing and Determining
the said Appeal and that all Persons concerned
may then Attend And your Petitioner shall
ever pray Etc,
