To the Right Worshipfull His Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in
their General Sessions of the Peace holden for the said County at Hicks Hall assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Peter and Paul in the City of Bath in the County
of Somerset

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of Benjamin
Cox
< no role > Esquire and Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esquire Two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex aforesaid (One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
Date the Twenty Eighth Day of January One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Four
made for the Removal of Jeffery Hunt< no role > and Betty< no role > his Wife and their two Children
William< no role > and Anne< no role > in the said Pass Warrant or Order mentioned from the Parish of
Chelsea in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Peter and Paul as
the Place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners apprehend themselves aggrieved by the said Pass Warrant or
Order and the Judgment of the said Two Justices and Do therefore humbly appeal to
this Court against the same

ex

Your Petitioners Therefore humbly pray That this Court
will be pleased to appoint some Day in the next General
Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for this County to hear and
determine the Matter touching their said Appeal

And Your Petitioners Shall ever Pray Etc.
