To the Right Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden for the
said County at Hicks's Hall Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of Richmond in the County of Surrey

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
hands and Seals of John Upton< no role > and Francis Burton< no role > Esqrs.
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace (One of them
being of the Quorum) for the Liberty of Westminster bearing date
the Second Day of January 1750 Richard Cooper< no role > Singlewoman
was Removed and conveyed form the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square in the Liberty of Westmr, to Richmond afore
as the Place of his last legal Settlement. Whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be Aggrieved.

Therefore they Humbly Appeal to your Worships
against the said and Judgment of the Said Two
Justices of the Peace And pray that the Benefit of the
said Appeal may be saved unto your Petitioners And
that your Worships will be Pleased to Appoint some
Day in this Sessions for the hearing and Determining
the said Appeal. And Your Petitioners. Shall ever
Pray Etc.
