To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the peace for
County of Middx in their General Sessions Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Middx

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or order under the Hands
and Seals of Henry trent< no role > and William Pickering< no role > Esqrs: Two of His Majestys
Justices of the peace for the Liberty of Westmr: bearing date the Second
of August 1749 William Christmas< no role > an Infant aged upwards of Seven
years Son of John and Catherine Christmas< no role > both deceased was removed
from the Parish of St. James in the Liberty of Westmr. to the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square as the place of his last legal Settlement
Whereby your Petitioners think themselves Aggrieved and
Appeal to this Court against the same

Your Petitionrs: therefore humbly pray
that your Worships will be pleased
to appoint a time for hearing and
Determining the said Appeal and that
all persons concerned may then Attend

And your Petitrs: shall every pray Etc:
