[..] This is my real Case that Insect generaly of a morning
[..] Mr Halletts or distillers near temple bar to drink a half
[..] nny dram one morning about nine of the clock I went
[..] therein as usual and was goeing about my Busieness the Landlord
and one Tooks who is a porter Belonging to the Six Clerks
office was their present they both I Suppose had made a
Contract for my comeing their in order to make me their
Laughing Stock which is vize-they Informed me that John

by force made me to goe to See my prosecutor who they
pretended Lay very Ill I out of my free good will did
goe to See the Saide prosecutor reith an Intent to treat him

[..] a Little Garet adjoneing to his Lodgeing I calld him by his
Name and told him the above mentioned persons Informed
me of his Ill State of health and that I came out of pure
Love to See him on which is replie was god claim your
Blood are you one of the thieves that Just now Robed me
I then turnd about and Saw Hellett the distiller Laughing
I had Several words with him but no answer any further
then it was Game he by Rolence put me into the yard
Second time when the prosecutor repeated the Same words
as before which Was very threating Twent with the Saide
Hallett to his house and Soon after my prosecutor came
in and without Saying one word Struck me twice in
the face and pulled me by the nose then repeated his
places on the Left Side of my breast which Brought
tears from my Eyes being Just come out of a fitt of
Illness and in a manner a Cripple I then absconded the
Said distillers house and never could goe about my Lawfull
Occasions without receiving affonts from my prosecutor
[..] that I went in Continual danger of my Life might & day
[..] which I proved when I had a warrant for the prosecutor
before Justices Fielding in Bow Street covent Garden
the abovesaid Tooks Sent me money to fetch ye warrant
