Parish of Saint Mary Islington
in the County of Middx
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Saviours Southwark
in the County of Surry
And to Each & Every of them

WHereas Compalint hath been made by you the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Mary Islington
unto Us whose Hands and Seals are here-
unto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County & Middx
aforesaid, That Elizabeth Cutler< no role > Widow
hath

lately intruded hereself into your said Parish of Saint
Mary Islington
there to inhabit as a Parishioner contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and is there like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And whereas, upon due Ex-
amination and Enquiry made into the Premises, As also upon
the Oath of the said Elizabeth Cutler< no role > taken
before us

it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Elizabeth Cutler< no role > is

like to become chargeable unto the said Parish of Saint
Mary Islington and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said Elizabeth Cutler< no role >
is in the said Parish of
Saint Saviours Southwark in the County of Surry

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require
you said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Mary Islington aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said
Elizabeth Cutler< no role >
from your said Parish of Saint Mary
Islington to the said Parish of Saint Saviours
Southwark and them deliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some
or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a
true Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his
Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statues in such Case
make, forthwith to receive the said Elizabeth Cutler< no role >
into their said parish and provide for her
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals the
2 Day of [..] August in the Year of our
Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and forty Nine
